Phyllis J. Clark

Phyllis Joy Clark (Doran) 92, of Maquoketa, IA, passed away April 2, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Phyllis was born April 16, 1931, in Clinton, IA. She graduated from Our Lady of Angels Academy in Clinton. On October 6, 1951 she was united in marriage to Galen Clark. They were married for 70 years.

Phyllis' family, especially her grandkids, enjoyed all the homemade bread, rolls, cinnamon rolls and banana bread she made weekly. She enjoyed drawing, painting and had a knack for flower arranging. 

Those who will cherish the memory of Phyllis are her children, Sandra Enke of Bettendorf, Deborah (Clint) Rieff of Powell, WY, G.Todd (Denise) Clark of Maquoketa, IA, Shawn (Mary) Clark of Centennial, WY, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her brother Robert (Martha) McCaughey, sister-in-law Donna McCaughey.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father William Doran, her mother Elizabeth, husband Galen and her brother William McCaughey.
