Paul Christiansen

Paul Christiansen, 64, of Maquoketa passed away on December 25, 2019 at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Lahey and Dawson Funeral Home in Maquoketa. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Maquoketa at 10:30 a.m.

Paul Owen Christiansen was born on May 26, 1955 in Maquoketa, Iowa to Norbert and Erna (Brackett) Christiansen. He graduated from Delwood High School. He married Margo Randolph on August 22, 1976 at the First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa. He was the owner and operator of Christys.

Growing up Paul learned to appreciate and enjoy nature. Time spent on the farm with family was cherished. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved watching his grandkids grow. Paul’s love of family included his four-legged friends, most recently his beloved Memo.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children; Jerimiah (Debra) Christiansen of Baldwin, Jamie Christiansen of Wyoming, two grandchildren; Wyatt and Sean of Baldwin and cousins Jack and Barb Jones.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Margo and brother Ron.
