Margaret A. Currie

Margaret A. Currie, 71, of Maquoketa passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Dubuque Specialty Care.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.  on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Lahey & Dawson Funeral Home in Maquoketa. A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to her service. Burial will take place at Pence Cemetery rural Baldwin.

Margaret Ann was born on September 14, 1948 in Maquoketa, Iowa to Raymond and Lucille (Fischer) Costello. She attended Clinton Community College. She enjoyed listening to music and loved cooking. Her greatest joy came when spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Jacqueline Currie of Oxford Junction, Jennifer (Kyle) Ahles of Waterloo, Theresa Currie of Maquoketa, three grandchildren; Kayla Currie, Robert Ahles, Alexus Currie, a great-grandchild Payton Dalton, three sisters; Mary Kehn of Fulton, Illinois, Liz (Larry) McCloy of Maquoketa, Jo (Denny) Vohringer of Delmar and a brother John Costello of Clinton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Johnathon and a grandson Johnathon.
