Jacqueline (Jellison) Vacek

Jacqueline Vacek, 94, of Olin passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Anamosa Care Center.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at Dawson Funeral Services in Olin. A visitation will be held prior to her service from 9:00-11:00 am at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will be held at the Mayflower Cemetery.  

Jacqueline Jellison Vacek was born on March 6, 1927 in Marion, Iowa to John F. and Lillian (Dennis) Jellison. On December 17, 1949 she was united in marriage to Vincent Vacek in Iowa. She was a volunteer at the Olin Senior Dining Center. Jacqueline enjoyed making meals and taking care of her family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Jean (Thomas) Ellison of Robins, John Vacek of Olin, David Vacek of Olin; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Joe and twin sister Jeraldine.
