Dorothy M. Willey, 84, of Spragueville passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue.
A private family service will be held and burial will take place at Massillion Cemetery. Dawson Funeral Services is caring for her family.
Dorothy Marie was born on January 24, 1936 in rural Oxford Junction to Fred and Augusta (Carstensen) Pegorick. She graduated with honors from Oxford Junction High School. On June 5 1954 in Oxford Junction she was united in marriage to Marlyn Willey. She worked for Jug O’ Milk before working at Fareway for over 20 years until her retirement. Dorothy enjoyed getting together with her friends and family and playing cards. She spent much of her free time crocheting blankets, sweater and many other items for her family and friends. You could always find Dorothy in the kitchen baking her famous chocolate chip cookies or kolaches. You would never leave her house hungry.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Marlyn of Spragueville, three children; Brad (Annette) Willey of Plattville, WI, Todd Willey of DeWitt, Trent (Monica) Willey of Preston, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Harry, Johnnie and Freddie Pegorick a sister Betty Willimack and a daughter-in-law Laurie.
Memorials may be directed to the family in her honor.
