Terry L. Wink

Terry L. Wink, 63, of Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City with his family by his side.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Dawson Funeral Services in Wyoming. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26 from 10:00 am  to 12:00 pm at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will be at the Mayflower Cemetery in Oxford Junction.

Terry Lynn Wink was born on July 19, 1960, to Richard “Dick” and Alberta (Fowler) Wink. He graduated from Oxford Junction High School in 1978. He was most fond of “Wink Trucking” which he founded after graduation. He faithfully worked doing what he loved, driving semi, for freight companies throughout his career. Terry enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He sought out and admired a “sharp” truck or car. On June 22, 2012, he was united in marriage to Beth Bleeker at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. His family was his greatest treasure in life, his greatest joy are his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Beth, two daughters: Haley (Jason) Sullivan of Lost Nation, Hayes (Tyler) Houdeshell of Marion, stepson Alex (Ashtyn) Bleeker of Marion, grandchildren: Elsa, Jory, Judd, and newest, most awaited Letty. His daughter’s mother, Rochele Wink of Clinton. His siblings: Anita (Lynn) Lasack and Lola (Jim) Lasack both of Oxford Junction, brother Steve (D’Anna) Wink of Peosta and a sister-in-law Carol Tubbs of Maquoketa. He will be missed by his beloved dog Archie.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lonnie “Toad” Wink.
