Skyler L. Tracy

Skyler L. Tracy, 25, of Wyoming passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals with his family by his side.

A visitation will be held at the Calkins Barn in Wyoming on Wednesday, September 18, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at the Wyoming Cemetery. Dawson Funeral Services of Wyoming is caring for his family.

Skyler Lee was born on January 28, 1999, in Ames, Iowa to Jeramie and Toni (Carrillo) Tracy. He graduated from Midland High School in 2017, after graduation he attended NICC. Skyler worked as an electrician for AY McDonald in Dubuque. On August 2, 2020, he was united in marriage to his best friend Aubrie Soper at the Calkins Barn in Wyoming. Skyler was a member of Faith Bible Church in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed being outside playing a round of golf or going on rides on his Harley. Skyler was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He was always working on DIY projects and made many items for their home over the years. He had a great love for dogs, especially his three. Skyler’s greatest blessings in his life were his three children, he adored spending time with them.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Aubrie, children Quentin, Micah, and Vada; his parents Toni Tracy of Wyoming and Jeramie Tracy of Dubuque; four sisters Anne (Cory) James of Maquoketa, Abigail (Michael VanAmburg) Tracy of Maquoketa, Josie Tracy of Boone, Izzabella Tracy of Dubuque, two brothers: David Tracy of Wyoming, Jacobe Tracy of Boone and paternal grandmother Cindy Bock of Dubuque.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and a paternal grandfather.
