Sandra Naylor

Sandra K. Naylor, 77, of Oxford Junction, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

 A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Dawson Funeral Services in Oxford Junction. Her funeral service will follow at the same location at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.

Sandra Kay was born on August 4, 1947, in Davenport, Iowa, to Paul and Rosemary (Driscoll) McDevitt. On July 4, 2022, she was united in marriage to Donald Naylor at their home in rural Oxford Junction. Sandra worked for Wal-Mart for over 30 years, holding multiple positions throughout her career. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and was very creative, often working on crafts, ceramics, and crocheting during her spare time.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Donald; four stepchildren: Mark (Kathy) Naylor of St. Peters, Missouri; Lisa Naylor of Allen, Texas;  Kelly Naylor of Petersburg, Alaska; Marsha Borrego of Florida; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and a brother, Paul (Carol) McDevitt of Charlotte.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Mike; a daughter who passed away in infancy; a stepson, Scott Naylor; and a step-granddaughter.
