Rosemary Jean Peck (69) was born in Cedar Rapids, IA on May 15, 1957 to Robert and Norma Jean (LeClere) Peck. She graduated from Anamosa High School. Over her lifetime she lived in Marion, Mt. Vernon, Monticello, Anamosa, Keokuk, Olin, and Onslow, Iowa.
Rosemary had a caring heart and worked as a CNA for local hospitals, care centers, and for individuals in their home. She relished tending her gardens, cooking/baking, and communicating with family. She enjoyed socially engaging with people, had a gift for impersonations and a quick wit with a comedic flair. Her faith in Jesus, as the Son of God and her Savior, encouraged and sustained her in this life and the certain hope of everlasting life with Christ.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Norma Jean Peck and four grandparents. She is survived by her brothers: Ron (Connie) and Barrie; nephews: Jeremiah (Cindy) and Joel (Katie); grandnephews and grandnieces; Uncle Bill and other extended family.
The family wants to thank the Mayo Clinic and the University of Iowa Clinic for the life-saving care Rosemary received throughout her lifetime.
A Memorial service celebrating Rosie’s life will be planned for a future date.
