Norva Beaver

Norva Jean (Rockwell) Beaver, 93, passed away on August 2, 2025 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards, Wisconsin.

A graveside service will be held at Esgate Cemetery in rural Maquoketa, Iowa on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10:30 AM.

Norva was born on December 14, 1931 in Fulton, Iowa to John Rockwell and Carrie Mae (McPeak) Rockwell. On December 16,1951 she was united in marriage to Allen R Beaver. Together they had one son and two daughters.

In her early career, Norva was a telephone operator. She also worked in banking as a teller for many years in Wisconsin at Neillsville, Onalaska and Eau Claire and later in her career Maquoketa Iowa. She also had worked with her husband at their Ben Franklin store in La Crosse, WI.

She is survived by Marla (James) Larsen of Sanford, Fl, Warren (Joyce) Beaver of Nekoosa, WI and Leann (Beaver) Jacobs of Hobart, WI. Grandchildren Jennifer (Gene) Manning, Erik Larsen, Daniel (Leigha) Jacobs, Christianne Herbst and Great-grandchildren Ethan and Brady and Caden Manning, Wesley and Adaline Jacobs, and Amelia and Allen Herbst. Many beloved Nephews and Nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father John Rockwell, her mother Carrie Mae Rockwell, her husband Allen R Beaver and siblings Alfred, Almon, Ronald, Lucille, Jacketta, and Louis.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of Edgewater Haven for their kindness and care of Norva during the last four years.
