Michael A. Berg

Michael A. Berg, 60, of Maquoketa passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Dawson Funeral Services in Maquoketa. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Maquoketa.

Michael Alen was born on July 31, 1962 in Los Angeles to Gilbert “Gil” and Arleen (Higuera) Berg. He enjoyed watching football, doing construction and painting. Michael was always working in the yard and keeping busy with his little projects. He loved spending time with his family and his dog Jerico.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Arleen of Maquoketa, two daughters; Miranda (Kenneth) Englund and Samantha Berg both of Clinton, four grandchildren; Lucious, Graysin, Londyn, Genevieve, a sister Sheery (Rodney) Schnoor, a brother Gil (Chris) Berg both of Maquoketa and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Gil and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
