Marylyn Myers Obituary

Marylyn K. Myers, 79, of Stanwood passed away on March 14, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Mechanicsville.

Marylyn was born on May 4, 1942 in Iowa City to Glen and Wilma (Irving) Sievers. She graduated from Stanwood Community High School. On June 8, 1974 she was united in marriage to Lavern Myers at the First United Methodist Church in Tipton. She worked at APAC as a telemarketer and Cedar Manor as a housekeeper. Marylyn enjoyed crafting and collecting antiques. Her true passion was sewing and quilting.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Lori Randolph of Mechanicsville, four grandchildren; Zachary (Jessica) Randolph of Mechanicsville, Cody (Whitney) Randolph of Stanwood, Elizabeth (Ben) Meyer of Laurens, Andrew Randolph of Cedar Rapids, six great grandchildren; Liam, William, Charlotte, Caiden, Lenora and Kinley, a sister Glenda (Robert) Holets of Tipton and a brother Robert (Josephine) Sievers of the Netherlands.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lavern and a son-in-law Jeptha Randolph.
