Obituary
Lorrene Betty Brunscheen, 93, of Wyoming passed away on Sunday January 30, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming with services to follow. Burial will be held at the Wyoming Cemetery.
Lorrene was born on October 9th, 1928 in Jones County to Amandus and Louise (Nissen) Christiansen. On June 18th 1946 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Brunscheen.
She was a member of the Zion American Lutheran Church, Midland Church Council and the Quilting Club. She also was a member of the church circle. Lorrene enjoyed her time playing golf and cards. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Sharon Gruber of Marion, Gary (MaryJo) Brunscheen, Alan (Patty) Brunscheen of Wyoming, a son in law Gene Andresen of Oxford Junction, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Patricia, a son-in-law Bill, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and 1 great grandchild.
