Linda S. Gade

Linda S. Gade, 74, of Oxford Junction passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023 surrounded by her family. 

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Dawson Funeral Services in Oxford Junction. A visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm on Friday, February 3 at Dawson Funeral Services in Oxford Junction. Burial will be at the Massillon Cemetery.

Linda Sue was born on February 6, 1948 in Tipton, Iowa to Raymond and Irma (Kroemer) Armstrong. She graduated from Tipton High School. On February 6, 1971 she was united in marriage to Richard Gade in Tipton. She enjoyed working on her parents farm. Linda drove school bus for many years and also worked for Wal-Mart. She loved to fish, hunt and trap with her husband. Richard and Linda would go to weekly dances in their earlier years. Linda enjoyed riding horses, attending the local Rodeo’s, time spent out of the boat and visiting casinos with her sister. Her greatest blessings were her family whom she dearly loved and adored. 

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of over 51 years Richard Gade, two children; Richard (Alicia) Gade II of Onslow, Ralee (Jay Barger) Ihrig of Maquoketa, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister Margaret Kettelsen of Olin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law Edward and a nephew Rex.
