J.E. Bickford

J.E. Bickford, 79, of Onslow passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at his home. 

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Dawson Funeral Services in Wyoming on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 am at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will be at Clay Cemetery in rural Onslow. 

J.E. was born on November 30, 1942 in Onslow to Dillon and Bertha (Hendrix) Bickford. On February 5, 1964 he was united in marriage to Marilyn Betle at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Preston. J.E. was a mechanic who had great skills fixing just about anything. He enjoyed spending his time cat fishing, hunting and camping. He loved to collect guns and Cushman Scooters. J.E. was a problem solver and loved tinkering with small engines. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his dear friends and several nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn, a sister Bercitis and two brothers; Edwin and Donald.
