Eugene Rearick

Eugene Harry Rearick, 89, of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away on June 16, 2026, at the Lisbon Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lisbon, Iowa.

Eugene was born on February 17, 1937, in Wyoming, Iowa, the son of Harrison Rearick and Helen Cook Rearick. He attended school through the eighth grade and dedicated 42 years of service to Iowa Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids before retiring.

Eugene enjoyed roller skating and dancing and was known for his hardworking nature and friendly spirit. He appreciated the simple things in life and valued the friendships he made throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include his cousin, Melva Joan Hurley of DeWitt, as well as several other cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026 at Dawson Funeral Services in Olin. Burial will follow at Olin Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Douglas McMay, Jeff Carstensen, Kirk Anderson and Archie Kokarans.
