Donna M. Clark, 95, of Olin and later Anamosa, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on July 13, 2024 at the Clarence Senior Living Center.
Donna was born January 17, 1929 to Asa Ray “Ray” Tarbox and Edna Mae “Todd” (Postel) Tarbox. She was a graduate of Olin High School and married Don K. Clark on November 28, 1946. She was a farm wife and homemaker and an excellent cook and baker.
After losing her husband in 2003, she continued to live independently until she was into her 90’s. The family expresses their thanks to all who took over her care and well-being while she was at Clarence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant daughter Amy. She is survived by her three children, Kevin Clark of Crawford Colorado, Wendy (Clay) Cumming of Lago Vista, Texas and Jeffrey (Mary) Clark of Surprise, Arizona. Also surviving her are nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00-3:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Olin American Legion. Burial will be at the Olin Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held in Olin at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Olin Food Bank c/o United Methodist Church or a charity of your choosing.
