Diane Hill

Agnes Diane Hill, 76, of Olin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Anamosa Care Center. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Dawson Funeral Services of Olin is assisting the family during this time.

Diane was born on September 24, 1948, in Alabama to Donald Hill and Agnus Edna Payne. She graduated from Southside High School in Alabama. Diane spent many years as a devoted daycare provider, lovingly caring for numerous children who affectionately called her "Grandma." Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, she welcomed everyone as if they were family.

She enjoyed coloring and cherished time spent socializing with family and friends. Her kindness and love left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She is survived by her three grandchildren: Nikki Matthess, Shannon Mere, and Riley Schenkel; and a sister, Janell (Geoff) Jensen of New Orleans.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Sonny, and her daughter Regina.
