Diane Harms

Diane B. Harms, 86, of Anamosa formerly of Wyoming passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at thee Anamosa Care Center.

Diane’s visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Dawson Funeral Services in Olin on November 7, 2023. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Olin Cemetery.

Diane B. was born on September 30, 1937 in Jones County, Iowa to William Davis and Irma (Jones) Woolison. Diane was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Harms on July 3, 1965 in Jones County. Diane was a homemaker, caring for her and Donald’s children. She enjoyed music and was always dancing and singing karaoke. She loved playing Bingo with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons; Eugene (Ann) Harms of Lowden, Tim (Kelly Schmalfeldt) Harms of Oxford Junction, Steve Harms of Wyoming; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Donald, her parents, brother Darrell Woolison, and two daughters Susy Harms and Julie Woolison.

Diane’s family would like to express a special thank you to Anamosa Care Center and Above and Beyond Hospice for their exceptional care of Diane over the years.
