Bernard Grandick

Bernard Grandick, 57, of Maquoketa passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Dawson Funeral Services in Maquoketa. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:45 a.m. on Thursday at Dawson Funeral Services. Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Delmar.

Bernard Joseph was born in DeWitt, Iowa on August 28, 1962 to John and Gertrude (Elsner) Grandick II. He graduated from Elwood High School. For over 14 years he worked for ADM. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Delmar. Bernard loved hanging out with his family and friends, he was a people person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed playing games and attending many car shows.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children; Trista (Doug) Mandigo of DeWitt, Ashton Schultz of Grand Mound, four grandchildren and his siblings; Cathy Wiese of Elvira, Pat (Rodger) Schnoor of Monmouth, John Grandick III of Camanche and Ronnie (Teresa) Grandick of Delmar.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Norbert.
