Ardell N. Feller

Ardell N. Feller, 83, of Maquoketa passed away on January 4, 2022 at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa.

 A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Dawson Funeral Services in Maquoketa.

Ardell Nicholas was born on April 2, 1938 in Jackson County Iowa to Clarence and Loretta (Schmidt) Feller. He worked for Wendling Quarries and as a business owner. For many years he farmed in the Jackson County area. Ardell was an avid Hawkeye, Cubs and Bears fan and always enjoyed watching sports. In his earlier years he spent his time fishing and dancing. His great joy came from spending time with his friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Douglas (Christine) Feller of Peoria, AZ, Connie (Steve) Kraft, Jody Feller, Deb (John) Ernst all of Clinton, Daniel (Julie) Feller of Farmington, UT, Colton (Kadee Dull) Feller of Maquoketa, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters; Mary Ann (Jeff) Driscoll of Preston and Donna (Mike) Gill of Delmar.

Ardell is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ardo and two sisters; Elgene (Richard) Tebbe and Arlene (Sylvester) Tebbe.
