Wayne Ruggeberg, 85 of Maquoketa died on Monday, February 24, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa. There will be no visitation before the service.

Wayne was born on October 13, 1928 in Clinton County, son of Arthur and Luella (Schmidt) Ruggeberg. He married Vicky Collins on November 24, 1950 in Marshall County, Iowa. He worked as a industrial safety manager for a number of companys. Among survivors is his wife Vicky, and two Sons; Rand (Pam) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dan (Frieda) Ruggeberg of Shorewood, Illinois

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Dale and a sister Jean.
