Robert "Bobby" Spidle Jr., 50, of Delmar, Iowa passed away on March 14, 2016.

A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa. A visitation will be held on March 16, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Lahey Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Petersville, Iowa.

Robert was born on January 29, 1966, in Maquoketa Iowa, son of Robert and Marilyn (Nabb) Spidle.

He was an over the road trucker, most recently working for Ewoldt Farms.

He loved to tinker with motors, he really loved anything with a motor. He took loving care of his mother, and loved being with his nephew/godson Tyler, nieces, Alison, and Hannah, and his great nephew Caysen.

Robert gave the gift of life through organ donation.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Spidle, sister Rachel (David) Yeager of Maquoketa, brother Randy Spidle of Lost Nation and brother-in-law Jim Shady of Maquoketa.

He is preceded in death by his Dad, sister Robin, maternal and paternal grandparents.
