Robert Eads, 74, of Oxford Junction passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Clarence Nursing Home. Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction is assisting the family at this time.

Robert was born on September 4, 1942 in Oxford Junction, Iowa to Dwight Eads and Helen Bruchner. He graduated from Oxford Junction High School in 1961.

Robert managed the lumber yard in Oxford Junction until 1984 where he went to a branch of the lumber yard in Clinton until 2005. He also briefly worked at both Lowe's and Wal-Mart.  He was a former member of the Oxford Junction Volunteer Fire Department and the CZBJ Lodge. He loved wood working, fishing, and to visit with everyone.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sister Judy (Mark) Buckner of Oxford Junction, and his half-brother Danny Eads of Oxford Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandmother and grandfather Tony (Joe) Bruckner.
