Marlene Edwards-Dotterweich, 72, of Bettendorf and formerly of Lost Nation died Friday morning November 22, 2013 at St. Mary's Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Davenport.

Graveside services for Marlene Edwards Dotterweich will be held on Tuesday, November 26, at 1:00 PM at the Lost Nation Cemetery in Lost Nation . Lahey Funeral Service in Lost Nation is in charge of arrangements.

Marlene M. Edwards was born on July 27, 1941 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Clyde and Maxine (Kankel) Edwards. She graduated from Lost Nation High School with the class of 1959. .Marlene married David Dotterweich in July 1966 and had two daughters. She had been a bookkeeper at GM International in Tifton, Georgia, and a supervisor of Checkouts at KMart in Tifton, Georgia. She moved back to Iowa in 1994. Marlene loved horses and Elvis and enjoyed watching football. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters Brenda (& Mike) Sinquefield of Lawrenceville Georgia, and Tonya Dotterweich of Bettendorf, Iowa, one granddaughter Ashleigh Matheny, one brother; Russell (& Helen ) Edwards of LeClaire, Iowa, and one nephew Scott Edwards of Bettendorf, Iowa. Memorials are preferred.
