Jean M. Feuss, 71, of Oxford Junction passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oxford Junction. A visitation will be held from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mayflower Cemetery in Oxford Junction. Jean Marie was born on June 3, 1944 in Davenport, Iowa to Edwin and Eleanor (Henak) Bicknese. She graduated from Oxford Junction High School in 1962. On September 1, 1962 she was united in marriage to Duane Feuss at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oxford Junction. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with their farm. She also worked at Family Foods in Anamosa and the publishing company Tidewater in West Branch. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oxford Junction, American Legion Auxiliary of Oxford Junction, the Oxford Junction Library Board, Jones County Election Committee, Wapsi Bottoms Sports Club and South Wapsi Workers. She enjoyed reading and visiting the casino. Jean was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan. She loved attending her great-grandchildren's sports events. Those left to honor her memory are her husband Duane, her four children; Danny (Mona) Feuss of Wyoming, Glenda (Kris) Leeper of Oxford Junction, Marsha Lasack of Lisbon, Steve (Aggie) Feuss of Oxford Junction, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters; Joni Bicknese of Nashville, TN, Janet Bicknese of Cedar Rapids, Jackie (Randy) Melin Tampa, Fl, two brothers; John (Terri) Bicknese of St. Charles, Missouri and Jim Bicknese of Oxford Junction. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Gerald, a sister Joyce, a brother-in-law Rick Snitker, a son-in-law Mark Lasack and a great-grandson Treyton. A memorial fund had been established in her memory.
