Jacob Gregory Camp, 23, of Marshalltown passed away Monday, February 10, 2014.in Marshalltown.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa.

Jacob Camp was born March 29, 1990 in Denver, Colorado to Gregory Camp and Tracy Wharton. He was a graduate of Midland Park High School, and had worked for a Landscaping and Construction company in Marshalltown.

He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his music, football, traveling and shooting pool. Jacob looked forward to new adventures and meeting new people.

Jacob is survived by a daughter, Patience of Davenport, a girlfriend Haley McLaughlin of Marshalltown, father Greg (Toni Marcus) Camp of Maquoketa, mother Tracy Wharton of Maquoketa, two brothers; Shawn Wharton of Maquoketa, Chad Bryant of Marshalltown, his maternal grandmother Rita Wharton of Waterloo, paternal grandmother Donna Camp of Gunterville, Alabama

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.

Memorials are preferred.
