Hometown: Lowden, Iowa April 09, 1936 - February 20, 2015

Ivan Clark, 78, of Lowden, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 20, 2015.

Funeral service will be held at Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial will be at Ozark Cemetery, Canton, IA.

Ivan Lindus Clark was born in Iowa City, IA on April 9, 1936 to parents Lindus Clark and Elinor Schmidt Pavlick. He served in the Army National Guard. Ivan was united in marriage on September 6, 1985 to Jane Dunham in Dubuque, IA. He was a member of the Eagles Club, Maquoketa. Ivan was a CAT UAW union representative and retired from Caterpillar in 1983. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Ivan was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed hunting for morel mushrooms and catching turtles. Ivan is survived by his daughters; Jean (David Roete) Clark, LeClaire, IA and Julie Clark, Denver, CO, sisters; Barbara Ried, Donna Crockett and Janet (Mike) Ketelsen all of Clinton, IA and his special friend, Debra Razor, Lowden.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane, parents, and his brother, Merile.

Memorials in his memory may be made to the Lowden Lions Club.
