Hometown: Maquoketa, Iowa March 12, 1924 - April 20, 2016

Ihlo Faye Leinbaugh-Einhouse, 92, of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away at CloverRidge the early morning of April 20, 2016.

Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service at Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:30 with a time of visitation at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Lost Nation Cemetery. Her family has granted her wishes of cremation. Lahey Funeral Home of Lost Nation is assisting the family at this time.

She was born on March 12, 1924 at Tipton, Iowa to Ada and Ivan Nebergall. She attended Tipton Schools. She married Wayne Leinbaugh in 1941 and they farmed southeast of Lost Nation until his death in 1978, she then moved to Lost Nation. They were the parents of three children. In 2002 she married Raymond Einhouse in Florida. They spent winters in Florida and summers in Iowa moving to Lost Nation permanently in 2011. They moved to Clover Ridge a year ago and Raymond died on February 10, 2016.

Ihlo Faye enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, teaching her grandchildren card games and her dog Katie. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation and had been on the board of Trustees and a member of UPC women's groups.

She is survived by her children, Pamella (Tom) Peckosh of Rapid City, SD, Carmelita (Don) Schneider of Lost Nation, Dennis (Mary) Leinbaugh of Columbus, Ohio, step-son Jeffrey (Patricia) Einhouse of Tarpon Springs, FL, step-daughters; Lyndsay (William) Alimena of Snellville, GA and Kim (Richard) Dancey, Peoria, IL and 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, step-father, brother Leo and her husbands.

The family would like to thank the CloverRidge staff and Jackson County Hospice for the loving care they gave to their mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CloverRidge Activity Department or Jackson County Hospice.
