Dean T. Cubbage, 84, of Champaign, Illinois formerly of Oxford Junction, Iowa passed away on October 15, 2014 at his home.

His family has granted his wishes of a cremation with a private burial. Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction will be assisting the family.

Dean was born on December 20, 1929 in Oxford Junction to Daril and Hertha (Eichorn) Cubbage. On September 4, 1955 he was united in marriage to Treva "Van" Heady in Anamosa, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, two sons; Robert Heady of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, Kent Cubbage of Alken, South Carolina, and a daughter Lisa Rasmussen of Champaign, Illinois.
