David Allen Sanderson, 51, of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be held at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date in Sutton Cemetery, Maquoketa. David was born on March 21, 1963 in Maquoketa to parents Franklin and Loretta (Jagerson) Sanderson. He graduated from Maquoketa High School. He worked for Mississippi Valley and tinkered with lawn mowers. He enjoyed watching tv and spending time with his dog, Bandit. David is survived by his sister, Linda (Lemon) Beauford of Maquoketa, brothers; Larry (Diana) Sanderson of Bettendorf, Roger Sanderson of Missouri, and Robert Sanderson of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and one neice. Memorials are preferred.
