Beverly Beauchamp, 69, of Maquoketa, IA, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Maquoketa Care Center. Funeral Mass will be held at St Lawrence Catholic Church in Otter Creek, IA on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa on Wednesday, April 1, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Otter Creek Cemetery. Beverly Ann Schmidt was born on February 18, 1946 in Maquoketa to parents Edmund and Marie (Kilburg) Schmidt. She attended Bellevue Schools until 11th grade and then graduated from Preston High School. She was united in marriage on October 30, 1965 to Charles Beauchamp at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Preston. Beverly was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Rosary Society, and Bunco Club. She was a homemaker and volunteered in the grade schools in Maquoketa. She liked to bowl, craft activities, and was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going on vacations. She is survived by her husband, Charles, her children, Michelle (Brent) Hutton, Orion, IL, Monique Towns, Fort Wayne, IN, Cory Beauchamp, Slater, IA and Danielle (Mark) Nicholson, St. Paul, MN, 6 grandchildren, her sister, Diane (Delbert) Miller, and brothers, Gary (Mary) Schmidt and Leon (Susan) Schmidt, all of Preston. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandchild, Whitney Towns. Memorials are preferred in her memory to Maquoketa Care Center.
